How we work

Step 1 – Free Evaluation

We will schedule an on site consultation. At this time we will analyze and interpret your total energy needs. This will include analyzing and educating you on your electricity bill as well as determining where your system components will be installed. We will design the best system for your needs and prepare a proposal for your review.

Step 2 – Proposal

Our comprehensive proposal will describe the decisions made in your evaluation. We will go over in detail the investment you will be making and the associated cost analysis. It will detail out information regarding tax credits, rebates, and incentives. Your proposal will also detail out each specific component including solar modules and inverter(s). We will educate you on your electricity bill and how adding solar to your home will make your most prized possession even better.

Step 3 – System Design, and Permitting

Once the proposal is signed and a contract is in place our engineering department will design your solar system. We will take into consideration the physical size of the system and the tilt or angle of the solar array. We will determine the “sweet spot” and optimize the location of your system. Once it is designed to specifications we will obtain a permit.

Step 4 – Install PV system

Prior to installation our operations department will contact you and go over a schedule. We will then hold a pre construction meeting with the installation team on the project. Our install teams will come to your home fully prepared to install your system in a timely and professional manner. Here at Home Energy Systems we do all install work in house and rarely subcontract out any of our work

Step 5 – Monitor and Support

One of the final steps in closing out your project will be to install your monitoring system. Each solar array Home Energy Systems installs comes with web based monitoring. This will not only allow you to track your production but it will allow us to remotely solve any operation and maintenance issues that may arise. Knowing this information will most likely allow us to have a correctional plan in place before you even know there is an issue.
