HES Solar Announces Service Department Expansion and Rebrand to HES Service

Solar and Energy Storage Installer’s Growing Department Now Features eCommerce Solar System Warranties for All Solar Brands

SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 11, 2021 – HES Solar announces the growth, expansion, and rebrand of its Service department, now renamed HES Service. The need for the development of the department arose from the number of homeowners contacting HES Solar for assistance with or information on a system from a solar installer that is no longer in business. HES Solar has the experience and capability to work on any components from any installer and it was a natural progression to expand service options to homeowners left with ‘orphaned’ systems and struggling to find a reliable energy partner.

HES Service now offers three levels of home warranties for any permitted system in its territory, which encompasses all of San Diego County as well as Orange County and Riverside County. The warranties allow remote monitoring of solar system output, preventative measures, and various levels of free service should any issues arise. In addition to keeping solar panels producing their maximum electricity to eliminate high energy bills, HES Service offers installation of EV chargers and EV charger outlets, any and all residential electrical work, system expansion through the addition of panels, removal and replacement of solar arrays, as well as the installation of attic fans, solar tubes, and accessories to keep solar panel arrays looking and working their best.

“It’s a very exciting time for Southern California and for HES Solar.” said Philip Salas, HES Service’s Director. “We have been helping homeowners cut their energy costs and better yet, helping them do that through more renewable energy use. Solar is a win/win and is an incredibly reliable way to power a home. We’ve been doing this for 20 years, and we’ve gotten an increasing number of calls from homeowners who no longer have a solar partner with the company that installed their system. There’s no reason a home system shouldn’t be working to its full capacity and optimum output. It’s incredibly rewarding to know we’re helping homeowners get the most of their investment, oftentimes an investment a previous homeowner made that the current homeowners can benefit from for so many more years.”

“The way our company is growing and improving it’s just phenomenal,” added Ross Williams, HES Solar’s CEO, “I couldn’t ask for a better team of professionals and it’s a good feeling to know we’re keeping more solar panels producing more power. Our main business remains growing solar throughout Southern California, but we saw the need for the expansion of our Service department and we’ve lined up a great team and a great selection of services and products – and a pretty unique way to access them – that only increases renewable energy use and helps people save money.”

HES Solar, celebrating its 20th year as a local, family-owned solar installer, has been busy on all fronts. After a strong comeback from the initial shutdowns of 2020, the San Diego-based solar company has continued to grow and progress throughout 2021. From winning the coveted SunPower National Commercial Dealer of the Year Award, to re-branding the Residential department as SunPower by HES Solar to coincide with an increased level of partnership with the top solar component manufacturer, to being nominated as a Best San Diego Solar Power Company by the San Diego Union-Tribune’s Readers Poll, to this reveal of HES Service, 2021 has already been a significant year of successes.

HES Solar has more announcements coming later this month including a partnership to give a boost to an important organization in San Diego to speed its recovery from the shutdowns. HES Solar, founded as Home Energy Systems, has been a residential and commercial solar trailblazer since its inception in 2001. The company is coming off of sevesral strong years of growth as more Californians realize the increasingly important benefit of solar power for their homes, offices, and facilities.
