SAVE $ FOR 25 YEARS

2023 California solar tariff changes
just made a solar PPA more attractive

We've been helping san diego go solar since 2001

What's a PPA?

A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is an arrangement that puts a solar system on your roof that provides electricity. There is no risk, no worry, and the option of no money up front. You save right away without the payback period of a solar purchase.

"Free" home battery

HES Solar’s PPA offer incorporates a solar system and an energy storage system. The PPA agreement extends the warranty on the battery out to the full 25 years of the PPA (a purchased battery has a 10-year warranty). You get a home battery without the up-front costs.

What's the catch?

A PPA (as well as a Solar Lease) does not provide the homeowner with the Investment Tax Credit. In 2023 this is at 30%. In a PPA, the ITC is received by the company investing the money to build the solar + storage system that saves you money monthly for 25 years.
